Continuous closing regulators make it possible to stabilise the speed of the automatic re-closing of sliding fire doors. Once the critical moment of departure has passed, the speed of the door increases progressively and in proportion to the excursion period and its own weight. In emergency situations, the energy developed could cause serious damage to people or property who might have to intervene. The hydraulic regulator stabilises the closing speed in a constant manner.

Art. 65000 - Short hydraulic shock absorber
Hydraulic shock absorbers are used as end stops to slow the impact and facilitate the closing of sliding doors. This is possible thanks to the braking effect resulting from the passage of oil through holes and slots in the cylindrical body of the damper. By means of certain adjustments, it is possible to increase or decrease the degree of braking. Once compressed, the damper stem will automatically reset itself the first time the door is opened by means of a special magnet, preparing for a new cycle.
This damper has a safety valve which, in the event of a fire, is ready to release a braking liquid to prevent spontaneous re-setting of the stem due to the thermal expansion of the liquid, which would cause the door to reopen involuntarily and the rooms to not be compartmentalised.
